A plane loaded with medical assistance extended by Qatar landed at Khartoum airport Sunday for supporting the medical sector in Sudan.
The plane was received at the airport by the Qatari Ambassador to Sudan, Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al- Kubaisi, Director of Bilateral Relations at Federal Health Ministry, Dr Eman Mukhtar and Director Qatari Charity Office Engineer Omar Abdul Aziz.
Dr Eman Mukhrat commended the Qatari support and ist assistance to Sudan in health area , expressing appreciation to government and people of Qatar, referring to continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
Al- Kubaisi said the assistance came at directives of Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamada Al Thani, within framework of distinguished relations between two sisterly countries , referring to Qatar’s stance supportive to Sudan in service and development fields in addition to humanitarian assistances.
Director of Qatar Charity said the load contains medical solutions estimated at 79 tonns and comes as part of continued humanitarian and relief assistance to Sudan and as part of “Safe Sudan Campaign’ disclosing that there would be a second phase of assistance whih would cover health, educational and other spheres.
