A statement from Khartoum State Security Committee.

The Security Affairs Coordination Committee in Khartoum State has been in permanent session since this morning, Saturday, April 15, 2023 AD, to follow up the events in the State, and in relation to the current security conditions, the Committee decided the following:

1/ Tomorrow, Sunday, April 16, 2023 AD, will be an official holiday in Khartoum State in order to preserve citizens and their property.
2/ Honorable citizens should stay away from military zones and any places that may be the target of ongoing operations and stay in their homes whenever possible.
3/ The state and local governments continue to provide all necessary services to citizens.
4 / Investigate receiving news from reliable and official sources and not to be led by rumors that would affect their security and safety.
The State Security Coordination Committee affirms its full keenness on the security and safety of its citizens.
