The arrival of humanitarian aid planes from the Sultanate of Oman and the State of India to Sudan

The first planes of the air bridge for humanitarian aid provided by the Sultanate of Oman arrived at Port Sudan International Airport yesterday evening, carrying ten tons of food and medical supplies out of (40) tons of aid that will arrive successively within the framework of aid and assistance to the Sudanese people in light of the circumstances they are going through. Sudan now.

On the same evening, 25 tons of medical supplies provided by the Indian people arrived at Port Sudan airport to support the Sudanese people in their current circumstances due to the ongoing fighting in Sudan.

The humanitarian aid was received at Port Sudan Airport by the designated Wali of the Red Sea, Fathallah Al-Hajj, the Federal Minister of Social Development, Mr. Adam Ahmed Bakhit, the Ambassador of India and the Sultanate of Oman to Sudan, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director of the Emergency Department at the Federal Ministry of Health, and the Executive Director of the Charity Commission of the Sultanate of Oman.

While the ambassadors affirmed their country’s keenness to provide the necessary aid and support Sudan in various fields.
