Assassination of a Sudanese Police Officers During the Protests in Sudan

Brigadier General Ali Mohamed Brima of the Central Reserve was stabbed with a knife in the convoy of January 13 in central Khartoum while he was working. He was sent to the hospital, but he passed shortly afterward.

Demonstrators in the Sherwani parking lot today also burned a police car, injuring a number of its crew, some of them seriously. Demonstrators attacked the police forces stationed to secure the processions today at the Sherwani station in Khartoum.
