Commander-in-Chief Al-Burhan Inspects Eastern Border forces and Offers Condolences to Sudan’s Martyrs

Al-Fashaqa – 27/06/2022 – The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, when inspecting the forces at the Al-Usra and Wad Koli sites in Al-Fashfa Al-Sughra on the eastern border, accompanied by members of the Command Authority, stressed the determination of the Armed Forces Command to support the forces and enable them to perform their sacred duty to protect the land and honor. And that the members of the armed forces will not weaken their resolve and that they are on the path of redemption and martyrdom for the sake of the country, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will not be wasted in vain and stressing that the response will be a tangible reality on the ground and that what happened during the past days in the family area will not be repeated once.

He directed not to allow any new movements or encroachments on Sudanese lands and citizens up to the international border line.

In addition, His Excellency visited the citizens of the Family and Wood Cole regions and listened to their demands, and promised to complete infrastructure projects such as electricity and roads. He also provided valuable support to the women and youth sectors.

He was received by the commander of the region and the leaders of formations and units in the eastern military region.
