More than 21,000 displaced persons from Blue Nile incidents in Sennar

The number of displaced people coming to Sennar state, fleeing the renewed conflict in Blue Nile region, has risen to 21,189.

This came during the meeting of the Technical Committee for Health Emergencies headed by Mawaheb Gismallah Al-Amin, Director of the Health Emergencies Department at the Ministry of Health.

The meeting indicated that Al-Suki localityregistered the highest increase in the displaced persons number, as it hosts 150 families including 800 individuals.

Meanwhile, Director of Reproductive Health, Nurse Dar Al-Salaam Mustafa, affirmed the presence of 297 pregnant women who received care in all the camps of the state, pointing to the provision of health care for children in the camps.
