Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces inspects frontlines in Omdurman.

Yesterday evening, Mr. Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdul Rahman, conducted an inspection visit to the frontlines of the fighting forces in the Omdurman area. He was received by Lieutenant General Yasser Abdul Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief. During the visit, he was briefed on the progress of operations by the leadership and inspected some military and civilian sites that witnessed spontaneous support from the citizens.

In his remarks, he emphasized the Armed Forces’ commitment to caring for the families of martyrs and the missing, treating the wounded from the regular and mobilized forces. He affirmed that the Armed Forces and the people stand together to eradicate the cancer of the rebellious militia and its mercenaries.

This visit is part of his periodic inspections of the armed forces engaged in the war for dignity on multiple fronts.
