“Sudan provides ambassadors with detailed information on security and military situations

The accredited and resident ambassadors in Port Sudan were briefed on the latest security, military, and political developments, as well as peaceful solutions to the crisis in the country. Acting Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq stated that he provided the ambassadors with comprehensive information, offering a detailed explanation of the security and military situations in Khartoum, Omdurman, and Bahri. He emphasized the Sudanese army’s continuous progress in Omdurman, Khartoum, and Bahri, tightening the noose on the militia. Al-Sadiq expressed expectations of an imminent victory that would bring back life and smiles to citizens rallying around their army and government. The foreign minister clarified that the meeting also covered his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, asserting to the ambassadors that reestablishing relations between the two countries is a natural and unquestionable matter in diplomatic relations. He highlighted that Sudan’s relations with Iran are not directed against any state, group of states, or any existing regional or international system in the region. Thus, they are viewed as a natural and routine aspect of diplomatic relations, signifying a resumption of longstanding cooperation in economic, developmental, and investment areas between the two countries.”
