Sudan’s Foreign Ministry accuses the Rapid Support of killing 40 civilians in Sennar State

 Yesterday, Monday, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the Rapid Support Forces of committing a massacre in Sinnar state, southeast of the country, which led to the killing of 40 civilians.

 The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that during the past few days, the Rapid Support Forces attacked various areas in Sennar State, including the villages of Jabal Muya, where they committed a massacre that claimed the lives of more than 40 unarmed civilians on the outskirts of the city of Sennar, then the city of Sinja, which is one of the largest concentrations of displaced people, which…  It caused new displacements.

 The Sudanese Foreign Ministry also accused the Rapid Support Forces of converting Sinja Hospital into a military barracks from which it launches its military attacks on innocent people.

 An exchange of accusations of blowing up a bridge

 The Sudanese Foreign Ministry also accused the Rapid Support Forces of blowing up part of the Halfaya Bridge linking the cities of Omdurman and Khartoum Bahri.

 The Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces had exchanged responsibility for bombing the Halfaya Bridge linking the cities of Khartoum-Bahri and Omdurman from the eastern side.

 Sudanese army spokesman Nabil Abdullah said that the Rapid Support Forces destroyed part of the Halfaya Bridge, which caused damage to the concrete structures of the bridge.

 Attack on a mosque in El Fasher

 On the other hand, the Darfur Youth Authority accused the Rapid Support Forces of launching an armed attack using explosives on the mosque of the Tijaniya neighborhood in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, while worshipers and displaced people were present, which led to the killing of 8 people and the wounding of 12 others with varying injuries.

 The coordination of the El-Fasher Resistance Committees said that 8 people from one family, including children, were “killed” as a result of the bombing of a mosque in the city of El-Fasher in North Darfur state, west of the country.

 A coordination statement stated that “a Rapid Support Forces drone bombed a mosque in the Tijaniya neighborhood, east of El Fasher, killing 8 members of one family, most of them children, and wounding 12 others.”

 Since April 15 last year, Sudan has witnessed a bloody war between the regular armed forces led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), followed by a deep humanitarian crisis.
