The Minister of Minerals assumed the presidency of the Permanent Supreme Council of Côte d’Ivoire.

Sudanese Mineral Resources and the delegation headed by them, and in the presence of the Council, Dr. Al-Jili Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Chargé d’Affaires, in cooperation with our Embassy of the Republic of Sudan to Côte d’Ivoire – they met with His Eminence Sheikh Ousmane Diakite, President, in the presence of the appearance of his assistants, through the Council’s headquarters in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister thanked Sheikh Dikaiti for his keenness to meet with him, praising the positive performance initiated by the Council in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. He also decided not to recognize that a significant number of preachers and imams of mosques are graduates of Sudanese institutions and institutes.
His Excellency expressed his regret with the continuous and generous support that the rebellion continued to receive from some of Johnson’s sons, which contributed to the prolonged absence of resolving the rebellion and doubling the contribution of the Sudanese people. I thank Mr. Minister and his host for their interest and close follow-up of what is happening in Sudan.
On the one hand, Sheikh Dikaiti expressed his sadness over the continuation of the situation in Sudan, declaring his full solidarity and all Sudanese imams and preachers with Sudan and its people until it emerges strong from its current ordeal. His Eminence praised the great services provided by Sudan to the people of Cote d’Ivoire who received their education in Sudanese universities, especially the International University of Africa.
The Council’s interest, including in our country, stems from the fact that the vast majority of its membership are those who enjoy their education in Sudan.
