Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Inspects Flood-Affected Areas in Tokar

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, inspected areas affected by floods and heavy rains in Tokar locality, accompanied by the Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour.

During the visit, General al-Burhan assessed the extent of the damage and losses suffered by residents in the locality.

He also inspected the roads, bridges, and infrastructure impacted by the floods and torrential rains in the region.

Emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting those affected, he stated, “We will provide all necessary aid and assistance to alleviate their suffering, mobilizing all state resources to help them overcome this ordeal.”

General al-Burhan also participated in the funeral ceremonies for the victims of the floods and extended his deepest condolences to the families, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
