The President of the Sovereignty Council meets the Head of Egyptian Intelligence

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdel Rahman, met today with the Head of Egyptian General Intelligence, Minister Abbas Kamel, in the presence of Lieutenant General Muhammad Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director of the General Intelligence Service.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council appreciated Egypt’s pioneering role in supporting and assisting its brothers in Sudan within the framework of the historical and fraternal bilateral relations that bind the two brotherly countries and peoples, expressing his deep appreciation and thanks to the government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The meeting discussed Sudanese-Egyptian relations and the challenges facing the two brotherly countries.

The Egyptian intelligence chief stressed his country’s keenness on the security and stability of Sudan, and hoped that the page on the war would be quickly turned to stop the suffering of the Sudanese citizen.
