The Height of Arrogance

By Sabri Mohammed Ali

Wisdom..

These days, striking the Janjaweed pains America, and makes the UAE scream. History has taught us that the will of the people cannot be defeated.

History reminds us that America fled barefoot from Afghanistan and Somalia not so long ago.

The victories of the Sudanese army, which have alarmed the West and threaten the collapse of the (Zionist-Emirati) project, are the reason why Mohamed bin Zayed is in Cairo today, meeting with Sisi. We await further developments.

This afternoon, Cairo, through its representative in the African Union, declared that Sudan is a red line. Meanwhile, U.S. envoy Periello adds to the failure of Geneva by declaring today that his country has opened channels of communication with the African Union. In these channels, there’s a message to African leaders written in invisible ink: “Prepare to protect civilians in Sudan!”

In his speech today regarding the African Union, Al-Burhan stated, “Those who do not respect us, we have no need for them.” He added, “We are capable of restoring peace and developing our homeland.” What Al-Burhan did not say as he concluded was: “If you’re brave, come to us.”

What has driven them mad is the army, the joint forces, the mobilized troops, and the many flags flying under the command of the army. Periello, in a display of sheer disrespect, said that the army has become more aggressive and extreme in its stance against returning to a civilian democratic system.

The last card America, through its envoy, is playing for the Forces of Freedom and Change isn’t just that—it also claimed that America is very concerned about the country slipping back into another period of dictatorial rule! Furthermore, the army, backed by Islamist groups fighting alongside it, is seeking to end the war through total victory. Periello said, “But this is impossible!”

In truth…

Mr. Periello, whether they are Islamists, leftists, or devils, none of them are your concern. The entire Sudanese population is the army and Al-Burhan.

You failed…

You failed in Geneva, in Cairo, and you failed to bring Port Sudan under the protection of U.S. warships. You even failed to meet with the army’s commander, General Al-Burhan.

Failure has been your constant companion, and now November is approaching with its cold winds, bringing with it the fierce storms of U.S. elections. Your party has failed to achieve “American peace” or bring Western democracy to Sudan as you promised your voters. But this is not the problem of the Sudanese people, whose sovereignty you insist on meddling in!
*Mr. Periello, your words today are pointless.
