The ICGLR organized on 3rd June 2023 an extraordinarySummit on Sudan and DRC in Luanda.

The Summit also called for the reactivation of the peaceprocess in Sudan with a view to finding a lasting solution tothe conflict.

The Summit emphasized the importance of consultation andcoordination with the Authorities of Sudan in any initiative aiming atassisting the Sudan to end the current conflict and to achieve peacefuldemocratic transition through inclusive political process in the country.

The Summit called on the International Community to provide urgenthumanitarian support to the affected populations in Eastern DRC and sudan .
