In his interview with Al Jazeera, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and General Commander stated:

▪︎ “Our forces inflict significant daily losses on the enemy in both lives and equipment.
▪︎ The military operations are mobile and employ all aspects of warfare. Losing a battle or retreating from a position does not mean defeat.
▪︎ The Sudanese people will not be defeated, and the Sudanese state and armed forces will not be defeated.
▪︎ The battles continue, and in the end, the armed forces and the people’s will shall prevail.
▪︎ The state has the right to acquire weapons, and there is no UN ban preventing it from doing so. This is essential to prevent the state from collapsing or falling prey to the ambitions of certain regional countries. The armed forces are constitutionally mandated to protect the nation.
▪︎ This war has clarified who is a friend and who is an enemy of the Sudanese people, and surely a day will come when things are set right.
▪︎ Anyone who remains silent on the crimes of the rebellion against the Sudanese people is an enemy, and anyone who supports the Sudanese state is a friend.
▪︎ Some countries use their influence to promote not supplying military aid to the Sudanese state, but there are those who believe in the importance of the Sudanese state’s survival and the necessity to defeat the terr_orist Rapid Support militia (Janjaweed).
▪︎ Some entities use illogical excuses and political issues to support the rebels who openly fight alongside terr_orist groups.
▪︎ There is no famine in Sudan, but there is a need for aid, and this need is caused by the terrorist groups represented by the terr_orist Rapid Support militia (Janjaweed).
▪︎ Last year, most agricultural areas were cultivated except for those areas where this terr_orist militia (Janjaweed) destroyed the essential agricultural infrastructure in the Gezira scheme and Darfur.
▪︎ The response of donors is very weak or almost non-existent in most aspects. We have facilitated the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected by opening crossings and airports for this purpose.
▪︎ We have not received any official invitation for peace talks in any country; we only hear about it in the media.”
