Exclusive sources told Brown Land that Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, a member of the UAE Cabinet and Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrived a few hours ago in Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, on a secret two-hour visit. During the visit, he met with the President of the Republic of Burundi, the incoming Chairperson of the African Union.
Sources suggest that the most important issues discussed during the visit included the Sudan file and a request to reinstate Sudan’s membership in the African Union.
