The Sultanate of Oman is a reliable logistical corridor and trade gateway
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Royal Oman Police, confirmed the readiness of the land transport sector to transport goods through the ports of the Sultanate of Oman to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, while providing easy procedures that enhance the flow of commercial movement and the efficiency of supply chains.
To ensure the smooth flow of commercial movement and increase the speed of response to transportation and supply requirements, a package of logistical facilities and advantages is available, most notably: the ease of entry of empty land transport means from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to transport goods from the Sultanate of Oman, and submitting requests through the “Bayan” system through easy and quick procedures.
These measures reflect the importance of transit transport in facilitating the movement of goods through the Sultanate of Oman to Gulf and regional markets, which supports the efficiency of freight movement and contributes to the sustainability of supply chains. This measure also strengthens the position of the Sultanate of Oman as an effective logistical corridor and a reliable trade gateway in the region, opening new horizons and expanding economic cooperation with neighboring countries.
