Egyptian Consul General to Sudan Visits Khartoum
The Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Sudan, Counselor Mohamed Magdi, recorded a visit to Khartoum State to assess the damage inflicted on the Egyptian Consulate and Embassy in Khartoum and to prepare for the consulate’s return to Khartoum as part of the ongoing relations between Sudan and Egypt.
The Consul General’s visit is considered the first since the liberation of Khartoum, where the consulate and embassy buildings were targeted by the militia, causing significant damage to the historical buildings of the Egyptian mission.
His Excellency the Counselor expressed his happiness with the visit to Khartoum, emphasizing the strength and noticeable development of relations between the two countries.
