Mr.. Tom Perriello and the wasted mandate

Brwon land

(Hypocricy of the American Envoy)

All along history, the Sudanese government had a standard modality of relating to special envoys and diplomats assigned to Sudan.

The government and people of Sudan always received the envoys warmly opening doors, granting acess and support to them.

Unfortunately, some of these envoys abuse the privileges accorded and take the Sudanese hospitality for granted. Sooner or later, some of them tend to feel over relaxed and believe they can do and undo in the country without limits.

The government issues warning to the envoy that contradicts the accorded mandate to rectify issues. If the rectification notice is ignored, the envoy is finally declared persona non grata, and the process of kicking out of the country commences.

This usually comes as a shock to the persons involved, and they tend to defy and resist the quit notice, but finally, they oblige in shock and dismay. The last person to recieve such treatment was Mr Volker Perez

It seems Mr. Tom Perriello is following in the same path and may soon be declared persona non grata as he displayed a lot of hypocrecy and dis respect to the National integrity of Sudan. Mr. Tom Perriello. clearly indicated his non challant attitude to the people of Sudan and his intention to achieve objectives beyond his mandate far from stopping the war , creation of peace, and supporting democracy.

The most prominent proof of Mr. Tom Perriello. attitude towards the sudanese people is his refusal to visit the soil of Sudan and to interact with the citizens and leadership of Sudan. Instead he preferred to move from hotel to hotel in African and Europeann capitals and beyond claiming to be searching for a solution to the Sudanese dilema where in reality he is seeking international support for his preset agenda and plans.

Mr. Tom Perriello. was recruited on febreury 2024.. and since then, he has never touched the Sudanese soil, despite the fact that many diplomats and foreiners are operating from Port sudan, the temporary administrative capital.

Now that the Biden administration is coming to an end, Mr. Tom Perriello decided to visit Sudan. This is simply a cosmetic action intended to convince the new administration that he is comitted to his job and knows a lot about Sudan in a final bid to display acceptance and knowledge least he retains his job and completes his sinister mission

The new American government still has a chance to change this before it is too late if it intends to have a positive impact on African politics in general and Sudanese politics in particular
