The First Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Diqlo and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed, held today discussions on the march of bilateral relations between Sudan and Ethiopia in all its political, economic and commercial fields.
The first deputy described the visit as a successful and fruitful one that will have its aftermath at the level of relations between the two countries, praised the great development witnessed by Ethiopia and said, “What is happening in Ethiopia from the honorable development of us in Africa” and stressed that the industrial and development renaissance would give hope to the peoples of the region.
The Lieutenant General Promised to transfer the Ethiopian experience to Sudan, and I consider the visit to be economic in the first place, besides dealing with many topics of interest to both countries.
For his part, the Ethiopian Prime Minister expressed his happiness with the visit of the first deputy of his country, pointing to the distinguished level of relations between his country and Sudan, and described the visit as important and historical, stressing his country’s interest in developing its relations with Sudan in all fields.
He pointed out that the Ethiopian Prime Minister that Africa is rich in resources, which opens the way for more progress in all areas, especially economic.
During the past two days, the First Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council, accompanied by the Ethiopian Prime Minister, visited a large number of development projects, including textile factories, food, pharmaceutical factories and agricultural projects to produce fruits and vegetables and tourist areas in the city of Adama and Addis Ababa, as well as visiting the Ethiopian National Museum.
