Southern Mediation announces a freeze on negotiations with the SPLM-North led by Abdulaziz Adam Al-Hilu

Mr. Tut Qalwak, head of the southern mediation team, announced at the press conference held this afternoon at the headquarters of the negotiations at the Primid Hotel in Juba, the mediation decision to freeze negotiations between the Sudanese government and the SPLM-North led by Abdulaziz Adam Al-Hilu, indicating that consultations between the mediation team and the movement’s leadership will take place regarding the resumption of negotiations later. Indicating that the negotiating delegation of the movement will remain in Juba. Mr. Tut also confirmed the continuation of negotiations in all other tracks in order to reach a comprehensive peace agreement in Sudan.
