The government delegation for peace negotiations and the delegations of the armed struggle movements – Darfur Path this evening, at the Crown Hotel in Juba, signed (7) protocols that included issues of power, wealth, displaced persons, refugees, shepherds, farmers, land, hawakir, justice, equality, reconciliation, compensation, reparation, and wealth sharing.
The eighth protocol on security arrangements will be initialed tomorrow, after its final drafting is completed.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Lt. Gen. Shams El-Din Kabbashi, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, and Professor Muhammad Hassan Al-Taishi Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Major General Yassin Ibrahim Yassin, Minister of Defense, members of the Southern Mediation Committee, representatives of Chad, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, members of negotiating delegations, leaders of the Revolutionary Front and the declaration forces Freedom and change.
The protocols were signed on the governmental side by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Federal Government, Dr. Hassan Nasrallah and Dr. Makki Mirghani Othman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Maulana Sabt Hamid Hajana, an advisor to the Ministry of Justice and representatives of the armed struggle movements affiliated with the Darfur path. Diu Matouk and representatives of the countries of Chad and the United Arab Emirates.
