Setting  Al-Tineidba  camp for Ethiopian Refugees in Eastern Sudan

Great steps and efforts have been made towards rehabilitating the Umm Rakuba camp and Al-Tanaidba for Ethiopian refugees in the state of Gedaref in eastern Sudan, until it became one of the camps with international specifications as a result of the efforts made by the Turkish Humanitarian Aid Organization.
The visit of the organization’s delegation had a great impact on preparing this camp through the number of tents and the tanks of water it provided and its installation in a beautiful engineering way that made the camp a model camp that would push the refugees waiting in the Hamdayit area to rush to it and push those in Madinah 8 with great misfortune to rush to this camp.
The Turkish Humanitarian Aid Organization has installed 4,482 tents and 50 water tanks in Umm Rakuba camp and Al-Tanaidba in Gedaref State for refugees fleeing the conflict in the Ethiopian province of Tigray.
The organization announced that it will continue to provide food boxes, clothes and blankets to thousands of displaced families in the area.
The Secretary-General of the Turkish Humanitarian Aid Organization supervised the installation of these tents, which found praise from the camp residents from the Ethiopian refugees and the local authorities in the state of Gedaref.
The camp will work to stabilize the refugees in the area and stop the suffering. It will also reduce the pressure on the authorities from the infiltration of refugees into cities and control their movements. It will also assist relief organizations in the distribution of humanitarian aid in the camp.
