Tip of the Iceberg .. RSF Social Responsibility

Muawad Mustafa Rashid

The mission of the modern armies around the globe is not only staying in their barracks or defend the territories but it is extended to provide support to the people within the frame of social responsibility…

In the USA, for instance, the Marines troops have several missions during peacetime especially that America is subject to natural disasters including storms, volcanos, and earthquakes. This necessitates the stand-by of the government and its people. Accordingly the Marines – as one of the components of the United States of America take the lead in the social partnership programs.

In Sudan, the issue is not far away in recent years, especially after the emergence of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its existence intensively in all humanitarian work.

The RSF is always on time in providing support to the needy as it organizes humanitarian convoys all over the country to give hope and relief among the citizens, providing all the required assistance on the fight against COVID-19 through dispatching health convoys to all states.

The RSF has a leading role in confronting the floods of the rainy season, providing of-free transportation during fuel shortages, construction of model villages, transporting students from rebel-controlled areas to the exams’ centers and bringing them back,

Last but not least, we hope that the RSF continues its model initiatives to become nearer to the people in confronting any crisis.
