Sudan-China Relations and their Brighter Future

On the 26th of September China celebrated its 72nd founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China at the Embassy in Khartoum with the participation of representatives from the diplomatic Corps in Sudan and China, the mass media, and distinctive figures. Chinese Ambassador to Khartoum Ma Xinmin addressed the occasion and highlighted the glorious history of China and the great achievements since the founding of the Republic of China in 1949. He reviewed the story of China’s success in different fields.

For more than seven decades China had worked hard to create relations and ties with the developed and developing countries worldwide. China’s success in building a leading economy enabled it to become one of the strongest economies in the Globe. We convey congratulations to the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese people with the 72nd Anniversary of building their State that succeeded in creating wise strategic relations and partnerships.

It is known that the Sudan-China relations are deep-rooted and go back to more than 6 decades. Witnessing development and progress in all fields, economy, in particular, represented China’s importance as a strategic partner to Sudan.

As the different countries suffered from the COVID -19 Pandemic, China was the first to bring it under control with the lowest infections and death rates, the Chinese Ambassador pointed out in his remarks.

China has also assisted with providing anti-pandemic equipment in over 150 countries, providing medical support and aid to Sudan as well as other countries in the context of its relations with the world.

Sudan has unique cultural relations with China; the Sudanese Acrobat is a model where tens of Sudanese kids joined it since the early 1970s. In addition to the popular friendships Societies played a major role in strengthening ties between Sudan and China. The mass media also has played its role in reflecting and tackling the culture and civilizations deep-rooted in the history of the two countries.

Over the last 72 years, China has played its part in promoting the peace and development of mankind. It has its contribution to global peace and stability, leaving China with a well-deserved Diamond Jubilee to celebrate.

Our congratulations go out to China and the Chinese people to celebrate the 72nd Anniversary of founding the People’s republic of China. We hope that Sudanese-Chinese relations will embrace a brighter future in the next six decades.
