Dagalo provides shelter materials for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey

The Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council (TSC) and the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo met on Sunday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Sudan Ismail Chopan Oglu.

TSC Vice-President expressed his condolences and sincere sympathy to the government and the brotherly Turkish people and to the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the country recently, expressing his full solidarity with the Turkish people, announcing his support for the relief efforts and humanitarian services for the survivors and those affected by the earthquake with large quantities of shelter materials (tents and blankets) provided by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the name of the Sudanese people for their brothers, the Turkish people via an air bridge to Turkey.

For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed, in press statements, his country’s gratitude to Sudan, the Sudanese leadership and peoples for their solidarity and sympathy with their brothers in Turkey to confront this disaster, praising the generous support provided by the RSF commander to those affected by the earthquake, stressing work with the Sudanese government to alleviate the suffering of the Turkish people from this disaster.
