The delegation of the Supreme Committee of the People’s Charter, headed by Professor Muhammad Al-Amin, the candidate of the Prime Minister to rule the transitional period, confirmed the health of the unidentified child, who was found in Al-Juraif a few days ago, and whose treatment and care the Shamaa Organization assumed responsibility for.
Professor Muhammad Al-Amin said during his visit to the child in Ibrahim Malik Hospital, pediatric department, that the presence of a two-year-old child lying on the ground exposed to torture and fractures in his body is rare in Sudan, pointing out that this situation can be found frequently in the society of Western countries.
Professor Muhammad stated that his visit to the child falls within the framework of the human and social dimension, pointing out that this visit could be a reason to move the family’s feelings towards their lost child.
The professor praised the management of Ibrahim Malik Hospital and the Shamaa organization, which provided support and support for the child and cared for him safely, stressing their support for the organization in this issue.
For his part, Professor Aqil Swar Al-Dahab, a member of the Supreme Committee of the Sudan People’s Charter, regretted the child’s condition, and said that his condition falls within the context of forensic medicine, a case of torture with medical evidence on the child’s body, including fractures and burns.
Aqil added that such a case is documented and transformed from a forensic case to a legal case after the child recovers, expressing his hope that the perpetrators of the crime of torturing the child will be found, thanking the doctors who provided the treatment service to the child, which contributed to improving his health condition.
In the context, Hashem Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Deputy Director of Shamaa Organization, confirmed that the organization provides full medical and humanitarian care for the child, noting that the organization has recruited an integrated medical team that constantly monitors his condition.
Hashem said that the child’s medical and psychological condition is fine and is proceeding according to the treatment program of the medical team following his condition, and that he is now recovering.
Hashem confirmed that they, as an organization, are taking all precautions to preserve the health, safety and security of the child until he is discharged from the hospital.
Hashem revealed that a child’s room has been provided in the organization’s buildings in Riyadh, until we know what direction things are going.
