
Statement from the Armed Forces
Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces received calls from the heads of a number of countries requesting to facilitate and ensure the evacuation of their nationals and diplomatic missions from the country.
The evacuation of all missions requested by their countries is expected to begin in the coming hours, as the United States, Britain, France and China will evacuate their diplomats and nationals by air by military transport planes belonging to their armed forces from Khartoum, and this is expected to begin immediately.
The Saudi mission was previously evacuated by land to Port Sudan and from there by air to Saudi Arabia, and the departure of the Jordanian mission will be secured later in the same manner.
