The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest terms the rebel Rapid Support militia forces, yesterday evening, Sunday, June 11, 2023, stormed the house of the Somali ambassador in the Riyadh neighborhood of Khartoum, tampering with the contents of the house, destroying furniture, stealing valuables and 2 cars belonging to the Somali embassy, (the ambassador’s car is a Toyota Land Cruiser, and another is a BMW This is in flagrant violation of international norms and laws concerned with the sanctity and protection of the headquarters and property of diplomatic missions and international organizations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renews its condemnation of this terrorist and criminal behavior of the rebel militia forces, and calls on the international community to condemn it in the strongest terms, to consider it a terrorist organization and to hold it legally and morally responsible.
