IGAD chief @DrWorkneh received senior officials of @GlobalFund at @igadsecretariat yesterday

. They discussed the implementation of a Fund-supported grant with Linden Morrison, Head of High Impact Africa II. IGAD has received $23.9M in HIV-TB grants since Oct 2016, improving TB detection & treatment. The ongoing TB-C19RM grant targets #refugees & cross-border communities. Dr. Gebeyehu acknowledged the improved TB-HIV services as the result of the support amid regional #humanitarian crises.
