We express our appreciation for the Saudi-American mediation efforts that it made during the last stage, and we renew our thanks to the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the leadership and people, for hosting the negotiating platform and routing a bridge of humanitarian aid through the King Salman Center, which contributed to alleviating the difficult circumstances on our people.
In compliance with the Jeddah Declaration, which we signed on the eleventh of last May, and an affirmation of our firm position on respecting the basic principles of human rights and international humanitarian law, and an expression of our full solidarity with our people, especially those affected by the war.
We announce our approval of the Saudi-American mediation initiative for a humanitarian truce for a period of 24 hours, starting at six o’clock in the morning, Saturday, June 10, 2023.
We affirm our full commitment to the cease-fire on this day, in order to serve the purposes of the truce, foremost of which is the delivery of humanitarian aid to the citizens.
We hope that the Al-Burhan coup militia and the extremist remnants of the defunct regime will fulfill the armistice and not hinder humanitarian aid efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
Glory and eternity to our martyrs
