On the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in the Azeri capital, Baku, the Minister-designate of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, met today, Wednesday, July 5, with the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Walid Al-Khuraiji, where the two sides stressed the strength of relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening them to serve interests of the peoples of the two countries.
The Minister reviewed the most prominent developments in the situation in the country against the background of the crimes and violations committed by the rebellious Rapid Support militia against citizens, public property and even diplomatic missions, as well as its violation of all truces and humanitarian agreements that were signed earlier through the Jeddah platform.
For his part, the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister stressed the Kingdom’s support for Sudan during this difficult period, stressing the continuation of diplomatic efforts to calm the situation and allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected.
