On the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Sadiq Ali, met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, where the two sides reviewed the close and historical bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, prospects for joint cooperation and ways to enhance and develop it in various fields. To serve the common interests of the peoples of the two countries. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

In addition, the Minister discussed the developments of events in Sudan and the efforts exerted to limit the impact of the ongoing fighting on civilians, despite the rebels’ non-compliance with humanitarian truces and their continued violation of international humanitarian law, while expressing the Sudanese government’s appreciation for the humanitarian aid sent by Turkey during the current crisis.
