In the name of God, in the name of the nation, and in the name of the people, we say that the militia will not be happy with what it has gained, and that a state will not be established for it. The Sudanese people everywhere are fleeing the Janjaweed democracy. The Militia: We are fully prepared to do everything necessary to empower the true revolutionary democratic forces and cooperate with them to form – a foundational transitional government – from the civil forces.
Why were the real revolutionary democratic forces silent about responding to the militia’s call to form a founding transitional government? Videos showed Kikel sitting at the desk of the commander of the first division – a civilian, after he was appointed commander of the division from the militia, or so he claimed. This behavior exposed the falsehood of all the allegations broadcast by the rebel forces, as they did not aim to dismantle the Sudanese army and replace it with groups of Janjaweed and mercenaries. This happened when he coordinated what happened in Nyala by appointing commanders of the 16th Division and the 15th Division of El Geneina from the leaders of the rebel militia. This is a new approach to seizing power (in Gaza) after the failure of the coup on April 15 and an attempt to take control of the General Command in Khartoum. This is considered a change in the militia’s military plans, aiming to exhaust the army and disperse its efforts in distant areas, relying on the slowness of the army’s movements – just like the rest of the professional armies.
What happened in Madani is a reminder of what happened in Khartoum, El Geneina, Nyala, Kutum, Zalingei, etc. — intimidation, plundering, and arresting the displaced on the Madani-Sennar road, seizing their money and phones, snatching gold from the hands and ears of women, and searching them. In a humiliating and insulting way to the dignity of women, in Madani and Hantoub, the doors of houses and shops were broken and looted, and sheep and livestock were not delivered to some poor people. This alone clearly reveals that this militia was never a regular force governed by law, nor was it part of the military system. It only owed loyalty to the Dagalo family, which ‘kicked’ the blessing that was flowing in it and coveted all of the cake instead of some of it. As some of those who advised Hemedti told me (so they said), asking him: What do you want when you are Vice President and have money, gold, trade, and power that Qarun did not have? In all the areas that the rebel militia entered, it targeted markets, banks, and civilian objects, seized vehicles, emptied homes of furniture, committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, and carried out the most horrific operations of ethnic cleansing in El Geneina and its environs, killing and capturing thousands of sons and daughters of the Sudanese people. Yet, you did not ask the militia and those loyal to it why people were fleeing and fleeing from every city that the rebellion entered. The answer to this question is enough to restore the truth to those who were involved in supporting the militia. The sons of the Sudanese people everywhere are fleeing from the Janjaweed democracy. They understand it. They realize that they are empty and false slogans that some leaders agreed to believe and follow, out of greed for false authority that the Dagalo family grants to whomever it wants in an attempt to gain legitimacy that it will never obtain. The militia tried to legitimize its presence in Madani while it was in a hurry. It found only Kikel to install him as governor of the island. He was a person hated by his family and his closest clan. He was nothing but the leader of the smuggling gangs and the Hambatas across the Butana plains, and he failed in his first attempt to bribe symbols. The church and their pictures receiving a handful of pounds (they swore a divorce would not receive), and he did not find any welcome from the people of the island and their notables, and he will not find any.
*The Janjaweed statement after they entered Madani said: ‘This great victory will not distract us from our real goal, which is to return Sudan again to the path of democratic transformation. Therefore, we declare that the Rapid Support Forces are fully prepared to do everything necessary to empower the true revolutionary democratic forces and cooperate with them to form – A founding transitional government – from the civil forces, in order to build a new state in Sudan on foundational principles. The most important of which is building a new national and professional army that does not interfere in politics and is completely subject to the civil government. Thus, the forces that the statement called are called to form a government in cooperation with the militia in areas whose people have been displaced, a government of fools and agents in – the real revolutionary democratic forces – to return a Sudan empty of its people to the path of democratic transformation. This step revealed to a great extent the lowness, misery, and shallowness of the reading of some of the rebel loyalists from the Central and the Central and Progress forces. So they remained silent about responding to the call to establish a Janjaweed state. They are in a stage of shock and will drink the cups of remorse, disgrace, and disgrace. Their dreams of returning to power have fallen. Through the militia’s rifle, and on the remains and blood of the sons and daughters of the Sudanese people. The militia has failed them. They cannot form this government. Their hope was to reach power through a political process and negotiations that would justify their participation in the Janjaweed occupation government. In the name of God, in the name of the homeland and in the name of the people, we say that the militia will not be happy with what it has gained, and they will not have a state and they will only rule cities empty of their people, until the displaced return to reclaim their homes and property. Madani will truly be the starting point for liberating the rest of the cities from the filth of the invaders and mercenaries. Madani is the beginning of the disintegration of the evil alliance between some leaders – the true revolutionary democratic forces – and the militia. Despite what happened, the Sudanese army is fine and its resolve will not fail, and it will not rest until Madani is restored to be a symbol of its pride and dignity.”
