Head of the Sovereignty Council Meets Delegation from King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid

Port Sudan, 2nd March 2024

Today, the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met in Port Sudan with a delegation from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Ali Hassan bin Jafar, and the acting Governor of the Red Sea State, Major General Maash Mustafa Mohamed Noor.

He expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting the Sudanese people, contributing to security and stability. The Transitional Sovereignty Council President commended the projects and programs provided by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, addressing the needs of Sudanese affected by war, healthcare initiatives, and water desalination projects in the states of Eastern Sudan and other regions.
