Sudanese government renews its accusations against UAE and Chad in UN Security Council,

Your Excellency,

I am writing to bring to your kind attention critical information regarding the ongoing war of aggression in the Sudan. Further to our previous correspondences to the Security Council about the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) support provided to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) genocidal militia, in particular letters dated 28 March, 26 April and 6 May, I attach herewith a supplement of images of some weapons and military equipment seized by the Sudanese security authorities on the battlefield in Khartoum and Omdurman.

The attached photos provide detailed accounts of the types of weapons and equipment seized including their make and serial numbers. It has been established that all the seized items were sold to the UAE army and subsequently ended up in the hands of the RSF in Sudan. This transfer of arms constitutes a flagrant violation of international conventions, relevant Security Council resolutions, and bilateral arms sale agreements that prohibits such illegal transfer to 3rd parties.

These weapons have been instrumental in the RSF’s savage armed operations, which have led to grave violations against civilians in Sudan, including heinous crimes and atrocities committed against women and children. The documentation also includes copies of Emirati and other nationalities’ passports seized on the battlefield, an evidence that further confirms the extent of Emirati involvement in perpetrating heinous crimes against innocent people in my country.

The Government of the Sudan urges the Security Council to take immediate and decisive action to address this grave violation of international law. We trust that the Council will act swiftly to uphold international peace and security and to protect the rights and lives of innocent Sudanese civilians whom the RSF continues viciously to kill and attack as happened recently in El-Fasher, the village of Wad Noura where more than 200 civilians were killed in cold blood, and in Omdurman and elsewhere in the White Nile Villages.

I would be grateful if the present letter and its annex could be brought to the attention of the esteemed members of the Security Council, and could as well be issued as a document of the Council.

Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
