On the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, held on Sunday, November 10, His Excellency Dr. Ali Yusuf Ahmed Al-Sharif, the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, the head of Qatar’s delegation to the ministerial meeting.

During the meeting, the Sudanese minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Qatari government and people for their continued support and assistance to Sudan across various fields.

The two parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations, with the aim of meeting the aspirations of both peoples, including enhancing communication mechanisms. In this context, the Qatari minister reaffirmed Qatar’s full readiness to continue supporting Sudan in all areas and expressed his sincere wishes for Sudan to emerge from its current crisis more stable and prosperous.

Furthermore, the head of the Qatari delegation extended an invitation to His Excellency General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, President of Sudan, to visit Qatar, with the date of the visit to be arranged through diplomatic channels.
