His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, recently conveyed warm congratulations to Dr. Ali Yusuf Ahmed, the newly
appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, during a phone conversation. H.E. Ambassador Fiqi extended heartfelt wishes for Dr. Ahmed’s success in his new role and expressed strong optimism for deepening the partnership between Somalia and Sudan across diplomatic, economic, and regional stability initiatives.

The two ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the historic and fraternal ties between Somalia and Sudan, agreeing to promote greater collaboration in areas of shared interest, including regional peace and sustainable development
