Yesterday (Monday), the land of good initiative for return was launched under the auspices of sodagas company, and under the supervision of the Sudanese embassy in Egypt, which runs 40 flights that will be directed to Khartoum, to transport about a thousand people.

Arrangement and organization

The initiative was launched in the presence of the consul of Sudan in Cairo Ibrahim Omar Siddiq, Colonel Walid Ahmed from the welfare affairs office, and Colonel Walid Hassan from the embassy, amid a large media presence.
The consul of Sudan in Egypt, Ibrahim Omar, praised the efforts of the armed forces that have extended their control over the liberated areas.

Consul Ibrahim said that this initiative is one of the most successful initiatives that went to the country in terms of arrangement, organization and number of buses, praising the efforts of sodagas for these initiatives, and the Egyptian authorities who hosted the Sudanese throughout this period, stressing that the embassy will spare no effort to provide a safe return to the Sudanese.

For his part, citizen Ahmed Hussein expressed his overwhelming joy at returning with his family to Sudan, specifically to the island state after being absent from it for a year and a half.

Hussein continued, saying that they are returning with hope and confidence that the rest of the homeland will be cleansed by the Armed Forces, which provided precious and precious so that they can live these moments while they return victorious and victorious.

Ahmed Hussein thanked the Egyptian people for the warm welcome and their embrace of the Sudanese in the plight of the war with all comfort, noting that they did not feel alien in Cairo.

The need to continue

On the other hand, the general director of (sudagas) petroleum company, walauddin Bashiri, expressed his happiness with the start of the delegation of returnees to Sudan.

Bashiri said that this comes within the framework of the company’s social responsibility, pointing out that sodagaz is represented by its chairman Adel Abdul Rahman Bashiri, its executive director Alaeddin Bashiri, and board members, including Dr. Abu Bakr Rabie, they stressed the need to continue moving citizens within the voluntary return programs and to motivate those wishing to return.

Walauddin Bashiri condemned the terrorist act carried out by the rapid support militias and their collaborators and supporters by targeting vital facilities, the latest of which was the bombing of oil depots in the city of Port Sudan, the interim administrative capital, yesterday.

For his part, the head of the initiative, Uday Siddiq Hassan Siddiq, said that their move comes within the framework of supporting voluntary return after the armed forces managed to liberate the states of Sinnar, Al-Jazira, and most recently the capital Khartoum.

Uday stressed that the initiative will continue not only voluntary return trips, but will extend to reconstruction programs during the coming period.
