Both leaders reaffirmed the long-standing ties between their nations and agreed to accelerate the implementation of existing agreements. They also emphasized the importance of boosting economic integration and enhancing people to people relations between Juba and Addis Ababa.
Following the visit, President Kiir returned to Juba, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Monday Semaya Kumba, described the trip as strategic, successful, and historic.
