Victory and the Zero-Sum Equation

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Zubair Pasha
Candidate for Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan

Victory, in the context of the nation’s current zero-sum equation, is both a great achievement and an immense challenge in this existential war.

True victory extends beyond military success—it encompasses all sectors vital to national survival. The resilience of the country’s institutions in sustaining essential services and production amid adversity is a testament to national strength and institutional success.

However, the greatest challenge lies in activating a legal framework that safeguards and empowers these vital sectors. A strong legal system is essential for reviving national production, which directly supports both military operations and public services.

At the heart of this challenge is the restoration of state authority. This requires institutions that reinforce national prestige through effective governance. Unfortunately, Sudan’s legal system has been weakened by political interference, reducing the powers of key institutions essential for economic and social stability. It is crucial to distinguish between political maneuvering and the demands of wartime governance. While their outcomes may differ, both operate within the same zero-sum framework. The only viable solution is a constructive, results-driven approach.

The Path to Real Victory

A strong state is built on institutions with clear, unrestricted authority. This requires:
• Activating the Institutions Law to ensure governance aligns with national priorities.
• Prioritizing security, essential services, and economic continuity despite wartime challenges.
• Strict legal enforcement to prevent chaos and corruption.
• Rejecting political consultations for constitutional amendments that have historically weakened the executive and enabled corruption.

A stable society depends on a strong security and legal framework:

Security + Society = Societal Stability
Authority + Law = National Prestige
National Prestige = State Stability

Decisive Leadership in Wartime

Sudan needs strong, unwavering presidential leadership that understands the gravity of this moment. During an existential war, political consensus and dialogue are distractions. The people have already given their mandate:

One Army, One People.

This is the only true national consensus. Leadership must not be swayed by opportunists or those aligned with traitors.

Critical Actions for National Survival
• Declaration of the Supreme Council of the Sudanese Armed Forces
• State of maximum emergency and general mobilization
• Formation of a wartime crisis government focused on national survival
• Strengthening legal frameworks and empowering national institutions
• Governance through constitutional decrees under emergency law

The time to make history is now. Sudan must emerge as a proud, resilient nation, upheld by institutions that remain loyal to the homeland.

The treacherous rebellion must be crushed—completely and without mercy.

Homeland and institutions.
Sudan, first and last.
