Statement by the security and Defense Council : The declaration of the United Arab Emirates as a state of aggression .
Security and Defense Council:
For more than two years, the entire world has been following the crime of aggression against the sovereignty of Sudan, its territorial integrity and the security of its citizens from the United Arab Emirates and through its local proxy, the rebel terrorist Rapid Support militia and its political backer.

When the UAE was convinced of the defeat of its local proxy, which was defeated by our armed forces, the legitimate institution entrusted with defending the neutrality of the homeland and preserving its capabilities, it stepped up its support and harnessed more of its capabilities to supply the insurgency with advanced strategic weapons .It has been targeting vital and service facilities in the country, the latest of which is targeting oil and gas depots, Port Sudan port and airport, power plants and hotels, and has endangered the lives of millions of civilians and their property, which threatens regional and international security, especially the security of the Red Sea . - Security and Defense Council :*
As a result of this ongoing aggression, the security and Defense Council decided the following: - The declaration of the United Arab Emirates as a state of aggression .
- Break off diplomatic relations with her.
- Withdrawal of the Sudanese embassy and Consulate General .
- Security Council and defense: * in accordance with the letter and spirit of Article fifty-first of the UN Charter, which gave states the right to defend themselves, Sudan reserves the right to return aggression by all means to preserve the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to ensure the protection of civilians and the continued access of humanitarian assistance .
