A Government Source: Sudan is About to File a Complaint Against the UAE

Almohagig – Exclusive
A government source has disclosed to Almohagig that Sudan will soon file a complaint with the United Nations Security Council against the United Arab Emirates for supporting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, backed by evidence in its possession.
The source stated that Sudan has substantial evidence of the UAE’s involvement in supporting the RSF, which has committed heinous crimes against the Sudanese people and is waging war against the armed forces using weapons and equipment received from the UAE after the rebellion erupted.
The UAE sent a memorandum through its permanent mission to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council, a copy of which Almohagig has received. It expresses the UAE’s protest against what the Sudanese permanent representative stated in a Security Council session that discussed the report of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, to which the situation in Darfur was referred under Security Council resolution 1593. The Sudanese representative affirmed that the UAE provided weapons and support to the militia in its war against the Sudanese army.
