Khartoum – The Weekly Report of Sudan’s Commission for Refugees highlighted that Influxes of Ethiopian refugees to Sudan fleeing the deteriorated situations at Tigray region of Ethiopia are continuing.

This continuity of influxes is taking place despite tightened closure of crossing points on the borders of both countries, the report said.

The report added that during last three months, 8600 refugees arrived into the Blue Nile state.

The report stressed that the Ethiopian refugees who arrived into the country since November last year surpassed 75000 Ethiopian refugees.

This figure according to the report excluded those who probably entered without passing through checking points.

Meanwhile, the report added that Ethiopian refugees are now receiving shelters, food and health care through authorities assisted by national and foreign organizations working at the refugees’ camps.
