Al-Burhan Stresses the Importance of Cohesion Amid Regular Forces

President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan said that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are working jointly, denying the existence of any differences amid the regular forces.

Al-Burhan visited the H.Q. of the RSF in Khartoum in the presence of the First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of Rapid Support Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, member of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt Gen. Shams Addeen Kabashi, Chief of Staff, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Osman Al-Hussein and Director of the General Intelligence Service, 1st Lt. Gen. Jamal Abdulmageed to congratulate the RSF officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldier on Eid Al-Adha occasion.

1st Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan affirmed while addressing the ceremony, the cohesion of the components of the regular forces for the sake of stability and protecting the nation.

“Our strength is in our unity, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces are one body” added Al-Burhan.

He affirmed the commitment of the regular forces in preserving security and stability besides safeguarding the transitional period towards the aspired democratic transformation.
