Sovereignty Council President and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Hold Talks on Bilateral Relations

Abu Dhabi March 11 2022 AD — The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received today at Al Shati Palace in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General #Abdulfattah_Al-Burhan and his accompanying delegation.

The two Sudanese sides, headed by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, and the Emirati side, headed by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held a session of talks in the presence of the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan., His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs

The talks dealt with bilateral relations between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, praised the great support that the United Arab Emirates continued to provide to Sudan for the success of the transitional period.

His Excellency stressed the depth and timelessness of Sudanese-Emirati relations, expressing his hope to develop and strengthen the bonds of relations between the two countries in all fields.

The President of the Sovereignty Council thanked the good reception and hospitality.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, affirmed his country’s support for Sudan in regional and international forums.

He added that the UAE supports and facilitates all national initiatives aimed at stabilizing Sudan.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced large deposits of Sudanese banks and the establishment of development projects in Sudan that would boost the Sudanese economy.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his country’s desire to build strategic partnerships with Sudan, invest in agriculture, seaports, and develop railways.

In addition to cooperation in the military field and exchange of experiences.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, welcomed the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and his companion to their second country.
