Statement from the Armed Forces

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision
According to the Presidential Decree No. 450 of 2017 regarding the inclusion of the border guard forces with the former Rapid Support Forces was canceled, and according to the new decision No. (131), the border guard forces and the security arrangements forces included officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the armed forces

The implementation of the decision shall be as of today, April 20, 2023.
