
Dagalo: “The Rapid Support Forces Are a National Group Consisting of More Than One Hundred and Two Tribes”

Kreneik 02/07/2022 – Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, denounced the claims that some have been saying to demonize the Rapid Support Forces, stressing that they are nationalist forces of formation and construction that fall under the command of the armed forces and include more than one hundred and two tribes.
Addressing the citizens of Kreneik locality on the occasion of the signing of the document to stop hostilities between the Arab tribes and the Masalit, His Excellency accused some saboteurs with agendas of preventing the intervention of the Rapid Support Forces to stop the violence and fighting that the locality was subjected to in the previous months.
Dagalo called on citizens to accept each other and renounce regionalism, tribalism, and racism, hand over criminals on both sides, admit that the criminal has no tribe, and help detect him and hand him over to the police, pointing out the need to bring any criminal to justice.

Stating, “What did the two sides gain except death, and everyone loses? You don’t hear the words of the inciting criminals.” He added, “Sit down and think with each other about the issue of regulating the interaction between the farmer and the shepherd concerning the beginning and end of the autumn season, with what is called (the freedman) in accordance with the inherited customs and traditions.”
He directed His Excellency to pay attention to women and give them their full rights, allotted to them by 40% in all political and social fields, in committees, and others.
Dagalo undertook the construction of the ancient mosque in Kreneik at his own expense, donated two ambulances, one to the Kreneik locality and the second to the nomads, and donated ten million pounds to women affected by the recent events.
Dagalo praised the UAE’s large donation to Sudan and promised them great support for the West Darfur Affected Support Fund.
Dagalo indicated the need to abide by the oath made by the two parties to the conflict who signed the document to stop hostilities and to streamline the process of providing health, educational and agricultural services to the locality.

His Excellency mentioned that the United Nations official visited the state today for the same purpose that he visited the deputy and members of the Sovereignty Council in Al-Geneina, by working on the return of the displaced to their villages, conducting reconciliations, and strengthening and extending the prestige of the state.
It is noteworthy that the visit of the Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo to Kreneik locality, was accompanied by two members of the Sovereign Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, and Professor Al-Taher Abu Bakr Hajar, Wali of West Darfur State, Ahmed Qardiya, the assistant president for administrative affairs in the SLA Minawi wing, and Sultan Saad Abdul Rahman Bahruddin Sultan Pan Dar Masalit.
The visit of the deputy is considered successful by all standards. It led to its purpose is to remove the tension that prevailed in the locality after the bloody events that led to the loss of many lives, a number of wounded, and the looting of many properties. And that the time of impunity is over.
