Ethiopian Prime Minister: “the Renaissance Dam will not be at the expense of Sudan

The Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed said that the controversial Renaissance Dam would not be at the expense of Sudan and that the latter would potentially reap fruits.

Ahmed called for a set up of an economic integration mechanism between Sudan and Ethiopia, adding that the contentious border issue with Sudan could be settled through peaceful means and joint technical work.

The Transitional Sovereign Council chairman Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan held talks, Saturday, in Bahir Dar, with the Ethiopian Prime Minister on the sidelines of the Tana Forum on security issues in Africa.
