VP Dagalo Welcomes the Ceasefire Agreement in Ethiopia

Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, RSF Commander-in-Chief, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has welcomed the agreement reached between the Ethiopian government and rival Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) as the two sides signed a permanent cessation of hostilities in a bid to end one of the Africa’s recent bloodiest civil war.
According to the signed the warring parties will cease hostilities and silence guns in principle in Tigray region and work on ending two-year old war.
“ We welcome the signature of the ceasefire agreement signed between the Ethiopian government and Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). We laud the positive spirits the dominated the talks and topping the national interests to preserve the unity and stability of the brotherly Ethiopian people. We value high the efforts led by the African Union (AU) and all the noble endeavors which contributed in reaching the agreement” Dagalo tweeted
